Affiliates' Wordpress Plugins, Widgets & Themes of Choice

The 2011 Affiliate Summit polled their attendees and then generously shared the results in the published Affiliate Summit Report.  There's a number of interesting findings, but I found two areas to be particularly  helpful.

First, it was determined that the most popular Wordpress theme used by affiliate marketers is.... [drumroll please] the "Affiliate Theme".  (how appropriate), and I plan to be checking it out asap.

And second, the top Wordpress widget of choice for affiliate marketers?  The Clickbank Widget.

She is an adjunct lecturer at the Loyola University of Chicago. She has earned a MBA from Loyola & MSJ in Journalism from Northwestern.
  • Trisha Meyer: Lawyer turned affiliate, makes pop culture sites for fun.
  • Kristin President and owner of Madhatter Affiliate Manager, manages affiliate programs

Back in the day in advertising, newspapers learned to copyright for sales because you had to write a headline, bodytext, people who sold things learned how to do copywriting, then radio, had to make a script, voiceovers, tell a story, get a spokesperson and industry involved   - the internet combines all: video, audio in script, text

Back in the day a locomotive was used to deliver, then stage coaches which would do local deliver. Later  plane, truck - and now with internet can do it faster - download a product immediately
